I am a clinical social worker licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I provide individual psychotherapy to teens and adults, and supervision or clinical consultation to social workers and other clinicians.
I work with a broad range of adolescent and adult clients. However, I am a trauma informed provider with particular interest in working with folks whose early life experiences interfere with current day functioning. Grief and Loss is also an areas of interest and specialty. I treat many college and graduate students as well as human service professionals and therapists.
My work is heavily informed by a multi-cultural lens. I consider understanding my own and my clients intersectional identities an essential component of the work. I identify as a straight ally, who is committed to reflection about my heterosexual, cisgender, and white privilege, and the ways in which these identities impact my life inside and out of our sessions.
I have a Bachelors of Arts In Sociology degree from Goucher College. My Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work is from Smith College School for Social Work. Finally, I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, supervision, and dialectical behavior therapy.
